Wednesday night offers a full 11-game slate, but we’re missing three of the juiciest defenses. The schedule tilts in the favor of a few matchups, especially toward the Denver Nuggets at home against a bad Atlanta defense. Denver has the highest Vegas-projected score of any team at 112.5, so you might grab a Wednesday night stack of Nuggets and fill in some of these players around them.

PG Goran Dragic MIA $6.5K vs Indiana

The Heat are badly lacking in options right now with Justise Winslow and Tyler Johnson out injured. They’re so short-handed that new signee Derrick Jones, Jr. started and played 28 minutes Tuesday night. All of that is forcing Dragic to carry more of the load, and his numbers are up across the board with a 22/6/7 line over his last five games. Start him with confidence.

PG/SG C.J. McCollum POR $7.8K vs Houston

This one is all about Damian Lillard. Dame has missed seven of the last nine games with a hamstring injury and seems likely to miss again. In games without Lillard this season, McCollum is averaging a 24/5/5 line, and he’s becoming even more of a playmaker lately with 22 assists in his last three such games. Houston is still reeling a bit and this is sure to be a high-scoring affair.

PG Kemba Walker CHA $7.9K vs Dallas

The Mavs are playing their third game in four nights and traveling east for this one while the Hornets haven’t played since Friday. Kemba Walker is averaging 22 points and six assists over his last seven games with at least three 3-pointers in all but one game, and Dallas’s small guard rotation is exciting but not good defensively. Walker and the Hornets should roll.

SF/PF Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL $10.7K vs Orlando

Sometimes fantasy isn’t that hard. The Magic are the worst defense playing Wednesday night and play at one of the league’s fastest paces. They allow the second most points in the paint at over 48 per game, and they have no player who matches up with Giannis. Greek Freak is coming off of a quiet game in Indiana but was averaging a 28/10/6 line in five games before that. He’s worth the price.

C Nikola Jokic DEN $8.6K vs Atlanta

Denver stack or not, Jokic looks like a key part of your lineup Wednesday night. He is averaging nearly a triple-double over the last five games with a 14/10/8 line. That includes two double-digit assist games and one triple-double! Miles Plumlee, Mike Muscala, and Dewayne Dedmon have no shot against Jokic. You’re basically getting Russell Westbrook for $3000 cheaper but without the scoring potential. But rebounds and assists are worth more than points, and a triple-double would just be icing on the cake.

SF/PF Trey Lyles DEN $6.1K vs Atlanta

Denver got roasted for trading away the pick that turned into Donovan Mitchell, but Trey Lyles is starting to pay off in a huge way. He’s seen a big minutes jump over his last 15 games and is averaging 18 points and seven boards over that span with 2.5 threes a game. He offers good flexibility if you need a cheap option or someone at either forward spot.

PG/SG Jamal Murray DEN $6.5K vs Atlanta

Murray is starting to come into his own in his second season, and his last seven games have been particularly encouraging. Thanks to a minutes spike to 37 minutes per game, Murray is scoring 22 points a game with 18 threes over that stretch. He could be a great flex option in tonight’s best matchup.
